ADG Pregens
Working on some pregens to pack in with The Moss Mother's Maze. The idea is that these will be characters that bear at least a superficial resemblance to classic D&D character tropes, so that players familiar with the genre but not OSR style play or the specifics of A Dungeon Game will have something they recognise. I figure this is an easier way to onboard players to a game that doesn't have classes, races, feats, skills, etc than to hand them a blank character sheet and expect them to just figure it out.
To that end, here's my approximation of a level 1 cleric using A Dungeon Game.
Occupation: Healer
Scar: The veins in the back of your hand are thick and black like they carry an infection.
- Agility: 9
- Brawn: 15
- Cunning: 9
- Health: 13
- Extra: +1 to Recovery rolls.
Rituals:
- Preserved Life (Ceremony)
- Evading Flesh (Phrase)
Equipment:
- Flail (medium melee weapon, 1d6)
- Plate armour (heavy armour, AC 7)
- Holy water
- Needle & thread
